The white rhinoceros or square-lipped rhinoceros (Ceratotherium simum) is the largest extant species of rhinoceros. It has a wide mouth used for grazing and is the most social of all rhino species. The white rhinoceros consists of two subspecies: the southern white rhinoceros, with an estimated 17,460 wild-living animals at the end of 2007 (IUCN 2008), and the much rarer northern white rhinoceros. The northern subspecies has very few remaining, with only five confirmed individuals left (four females and one male), all in captivity. To learn more or to help,

DIRECTIONS

Pour Ingredients along with some ice in a cocktail glass, garnish it with a lime and fresh mint.
The eastern lowland gorilla (Gorilla beringei graueri) also known as the Grauer’s gorilla is a subspecies of eastern gorilla endemic to the mountainous forests of eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo. Important populations of this gorilla live within the Kahuzi-Biega and Maiko National Parks and their adjacent forests, the Tayna Gorilla Reserve, the Usala forest and on the Itombwe Massif.

It is the largest of the four gorilla subspecies. It has jet black coats like the mountain gorilla (Gorilla beringei beringei), although the hair is shorter on the head and body. The male’s coat, like that of other gorillas, turns silver at the back as the animal matures. There are many more western lowland gorillas than the eastern variety; compared to a possible total of over 100,000 western lowland gorillas, there are only about 5,000 eastern lowland gorillas in the wild. SOME OF THE “ANCIENT HERBS” FOUND IN EASYRHINO LIQUEUR®

MUIRA PUAMA

Known as ‘potent wood’, the roots and bark of this little-known tree found in the Amazon rain forest were used by indigenous people in a variety of ways, including teas, massages, and hot baths. Its small, white flowers produce an alluring fragrance similar to that of jasmine.

ASHWAGANDHA

For almost 3,000 years the root of this tender plant, was extracted and used by ancient Eastern cultures and was first described in ancient, sacred Indian texts. The plant, sometimes called “wild cherry,” produces small, bell-shaped flowers with a fiery, orange-red fruit in its center.

EPIMEDIUM

For over 2,000 years, this herb has been used by many different cultures, most notably by ancient Chinese culture. The plant, which produces a spider-like flower, is picked wild and its plant leaves were boiled to make hot tea.
